Robert J. Roderick, age 60 of East Taunton, passed away on March 8, 2025 at Morton Hospital after a period of declining health.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Arthur E. and Barbara J. (Boudreau) Roderick.
He was predeceased by his brother Daniel (Teddy) Roderick and a sister -in-law Margaret (Peggy) McGowan.
Robert is survived by his loving daughter Mackenzie Lynne Roderick, a brother Paul Roderick, his nieces Taylor and Tiffany Roderick all of Taunton. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Patricia (McGowan) Roderick of Taunton, and his loving pets Larry and Elmo.
Robert spent 36 years in Public Safety and Emergency Medical Services retiring because of failing health in 2019.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 4 to 7pm with a service beginning at 7pm in the Memorial Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Additional parking is located on the North side of the funeral home.
His burial will be held privately.
