Robert Stankiewicz

Robert Stankiewicz , 64, of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the South Shore Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Rockland. He was the husband of the late Mary F. (Giannone) Stankiewicz. Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Alves) Stankiewicz. He served proudly in the United States Air Force. Robert worked as a licensed electrician for many years. An avid gun collector, he enjoyed fishing and music. Bob was a former member of the Black Diamonds Motorcycle Club. He was also very patriotic. He leaves his son, Robert L. Stankiewicz, of East Taunton and stepson, George E. Horton, Jr., of Stoughton; a brother, Mark Stankiewicz, of Taunton; a sister, Terry Miggins, of East Taunton; two granddaughters, Tamera and Amaya Stankiewicz; and a great granddaughter, Lana Bruce. Interment with military honors was held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 1:15 pm, in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, in Bourne. Visitation was respectfully omitted.
