Roger S. Reizovic, age 68 of Taunton, passed away on October 26, 2019 at Morton Hospital with his loving wife by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Diane (DeChristopher) Reizovic.
Roger was born in Westfield, Ma, a son of the late Joseph and Jermilla (Cuk) Reizovic.
Before retiring, Mr. Reizovic was employed with Boston University School of Dental Medicine as a service technician. Roger was also employed prior with the Town of Westfield as a police officer.
He was a member of the Taunton River Power Squadron and served as Squadron Commander, he also served as a District Lieutenant for District 14. Roger taught the public boating course, as well as Chairing the Vessel Safety Check Program. He was an active member of the Mustang CAR Club of New England, was the Membership Director, a Judge and served on the Board of Directors. Roger was an active member of the Cape Cod Mustang Club, the Mass Cruisers Club where he headed up Mustang Alley.
Besides his beloved wife Diane of over 34 years, he is survived by his mother-in-law Rita DeChristopher formerly of Agawam, sister-in-law Debra (DeChristopher) Mekler, her husband Todd and their children Audrey and Adam, brother-in-law David DeChristopher and his wife Bonnie. He also leaves his newphew Michael Olsen of California and niece Carolyn, her son James and his daughter Oshea, his wife Jamie, Carolyn’s daughter Kayla and her son Aiden, and Many cousins in Long Island, NY. Roger also leaves his faithful companion, his dog Hana. He was also the brother of the late Ronald Reizovic and Maryanne Olsen.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 beginning at 1 pm followed by a funeral service at 3 pm in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
His burial will be held privately.
