Ronald W. Rice, 52, of Raynham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14th at Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care in Milton following a four year, hard core "Ron Style" battle with pancreatic cancer. Based on his humor and stubborn-ness, his family is not surprised that he chose to leave this world during a blizzard. He was the loving husband of Nicole L. (Le Clair) Rice. Born in Taunton, he was the son of William J. Rice, Jr. and the late Barbara Rice. Ron was a devoted father of his four sons, Brandon Rice, Derek Rice, Nicholas Rice and Tyler Rice; brother of Kenneth Rice and James Rice; and beloved "Papa" of his granddaughter, Ava Olivia Rice. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, on Sunday from 4-7pm where his funeral service will take place at 5:00pm. Private cremation to follow.
