Rosa (deBrito) Jorge, age 92 of Taunton, passed away on January 6, 2018.at her home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jose Machedo Jorge who passed in 1989.
Mrs. Jorge was born in Terceira Azores on December 9, 1925, a daughter of the late Francisco and Anna (Inacio) Brites.
Rosa was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed gardening and time spent with her family and friends.
She was the loving mother of Joseph B. Jorge of Bristol, RI, Ilberto B. Jorge of FL, Diva Maria Robichaud of Fall River and Dina Maria Jorge of Taunton, grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 6. She was also the sister of predeceased 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 9 to 10am in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) in Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
