TAUNTON - Rose E. (Santos) Scott, 77, died unexpectedly at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital on Sept. 30, 2009.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gloria (Lima) Santos.
Mrs. Scott was educated in Taunton schools after moving here as a child.
A communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, she was employed by both Morton Hospital and Marian Manor, working as a nurses aide and dietary aide for many years, retiring several years ago.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Women's Guild and the Golden Agers; and was a former member of the VFW Post 611, Women's Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Glenn Scott of Framingham; two daughters, Noreen Kitchen of Ashland, ME and Katherine Beetler of Taunton; a sister, Deolinda Jil of Taunton; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Saturday, Oct. 3rd at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 2nd from 4 to 8 p.m.
