NORTH EASTON - Ruth Ann Cardoza, formerly of Taunton, died at her North Easton home on August 9, 2010.
She was 65 years old.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary E. (Gomes) Cardoza.
Raised and educated in Taunton, she was a 1963 graduate of Taunton High School.
Mrs. Cardoza moved to Easton many years ago and was employed by the District Court System for over thirty-nine years, most recently working for the Stoughton District Court.
She retired at the age of 62.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Joseph and his partner Charles R. DiBlasi of Sharon, and Talbot Tower Hazard of N. Easton; a granddaughter, Izsabella A. Hazard of N. Easton; a sister, Mary Taylor of Bellingham; two aunts, Estelle Redd of Sayreville, GA and Lena Wing of Boston; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Edward Brown and Renee Hall.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday, Aug. 13th at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church, 126 School St. Taunton at 9 a.m.
Burial will be at Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 12th from 4 to 8 p.m.
