Ruth (Pacheco) Conant, age 88 of Taunton, passed away on January 1, 2019 at Longmeadow of Taunton.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Conant Jr.
Ruth was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Jordan and Mary(Mello) Pacheco.
Before retiring Mrs. Conant was employed with Bay Bank and Ad-A-Day for many years.
She enjoyed ice skating, roller skating, the beach, and any get together with her family and loved ones. She also really loved church and singing in the church choir.
Ruth was the loving mother of Ralph Conant III, and Sherri Machado and her husband Kevin both of East Taunton. She was the sister of Winifred LaMountain, grandmother of Jamie Conant, Christen Ferreira, and her husband Christopher, Randy Conant, Paisley Machado, Noah Machado, great grandmother of Primo Dias and Emery Ferreira, aunt of Joy Buck, Jean Mayberry, and great aunt to two nieces Pamela and Lauren.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery in East Taunton in the spring.
