Selina Burgos-Mendez

Selina Burgos-Mendez, age 26 of Taunton, passed away on July 17, 2026 after an auto accident.

She was the beloved daughter of Jose and Julia (Mendez) Burgos.

Selina was employed as a day care teacher.

Selina enjoyed working with children, cherished time spent with her family and friends. Selina would light up a room just by her beautiful smile and kind personality. She will be missed by so many.

Besides her beloved parents, Jose and Julia, she is survived by a brother Jose Burgos and a sister Mary Burgos. 

Selina also leaves many caring aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 1 to 3pm in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.

Her burial will be held privately.
