Sharon Roshunda Easter, age 48 of Taunton, MA passed away on October 1, 2018.
Sharon was born in Magnolia, Arkansas, a daughter of the late John T. and Melva L. (Mallory) Easter.
She started her career as a correctional officer at Bridgewater State Prison and continued working until she became disabled. She had such a huge heart and passion for life.
Sharon is survived by her loving children, Tevin Easter of Dothan, AL and Irieana Parris of Taunton, MA along with six siblings. Brothers are Johnny E. Easter of San Antonio, TX, Charles E. Easter of St. Louis, IL, Bobby R. Easter of Magnolia, AR and sisters are Glenda S. Easter- Randle and husband Kenneth of Texarkana, AR, Pearlie Easter-Wilson and husband Robert of Dothan, AL and Shirley M. Easter-Earley of Kansas City, MO. Sharon has a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her dearly.
Sharon’s calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 4 – 7 pm with service to begin at 7 pm in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home located at 80 Broadway (Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, MA. (Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.) Burial will be held privately.
