Shirley Ann (Florence) Ferreira, age 87 of Taunton, passed away on May 11, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of the late Francis M. Ferreira.
Born in Taunton, Shirley was the daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Correia) Florence. She is pre-deceased by her siblings, Natalie (Florence) Severino, Norma (Florence) Sippy and Fred Florence.
Shirley is survived by her son, Steven Ferreira of Miami, Florida and his wife Yulia and their 3 children, Brook Alexander, Gabriel, and Sofia, along with grandchildren Emily Ferreira of San Leandro, California and Steven Ferreira of Renton, Washington and great grandson Carter Villalobos of San Leandro, California. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly.
Shirley’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 9 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
