Shirley (Schricker) Morris, 86, of North Dighton, passed away on April 8, 2018 at Morton Hospital, surrounded by family. Born in North Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Hartman) Schricker. Shirley is predeceased by her husband, Manuel J. Morris Sr. and their beloved son, Manuel Jr. She graduated from North Attleboro High School in 1950 and worked at the Rennie Curtain Manufacturing Co. until her retirement.
She is survived by her twin sister, Barbara Musil (of North Attleboro) and her grandson, Charles Morris, his wife, Kerry, and her great-grandchildren, Hailey, Lillian and Charles Jr. (of Attleboro). Shirley was a cherished aunt to several nieces and nephews, in addition to being a truly great aunt to several great nieces and nephews. She was sister to both the late Harry Schricker and Theresa Mancini.
Shirley adored animals, especially her dachshund, Muffin. She loved the outdoors, taking great pride in caring for her gardens. Shirley enjoyed bunka embroidery, bingo and puzzles.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 8:30 am, with a funeral service to begin at 10 am in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
