Stephanie Powell, age 52 of Evans, GA, formerly of Taunton, passed away at her residence with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
Born in Taunton, Stephanie was the beloved daughter of the late Michael S. Barros and Charlene M. Powell.
Before her illness, Stephanie was employed by both Marian Manor and Taunton State Hospital as a CNA.
She enjoyed going to the beach, listening to music, tending to her house plants and most of all she cherished time spent with her family.
Stephanie is survived by her loving children, Shaniqua Santos and her husband Greg of Evans, GA and Kenetra Hinkins of Taunton. Grandmother of Greyson Santos and Saniya Santos both of Evans, GA, she was the sister of Nadina Powell, Tarsha Burgo and Yolanda Burgo all of Taunton. She is also survived by her grandmother Dora L. Fisher of GA, nephews Bryce and Braylen Plante of Taunton and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stephanie’s funeral with visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 9am with a funeral service to begin at 10 am in the Memorial Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.
