Stephen L. Levesque, 63, of Taunton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 5th, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Paula F. (Mullaney) Levesque.
Born in Boston, Stephen was the son of the late Robert L. and Lily (Stephenson) Levesque. He was a butcher at New England's Premier Meat Company, T.F. Kinnealey in Brockton, MA. Besides his love for cooking and all things culinary, Stephen was also known for being a "wine connoisseur". He greatly enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hunting and kayaking, was a member of the Taunton Gun Club, and a self-professed Patriots Super Fan.
He is survived by his children, Christopher Harris and his girlfriend, Karmen Sokolosky of Pinehurst, N.C., Kayleen Castro and her husband Paul of East Providence, R.I., Laura Levesque, Robert Levesque and Stephen Levesque, Jr.; sister, Susan Gillen of Wyndham, N.H.; grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Cromwell, ChloƩ Lynn Harris and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
Following a private cremation, relatives and friends are invited to Celebrate Stephen's Life and gather on Saturday, July 15th, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton.
