Steven G. Ventura

It is with great sadness that the family of Steven G. Ventura, age 37 of Taunton, announce his passing away on May 7, 2019.

Steven was born in Taunton, the son of Stella Pigney of Taunton and the late Joseph G. Ventura.

A native of Taunton, MA, Steven attended Taunton High School and graduated in 2000.  He went on to Bristol Community College for 2 years studying Fire Science Technology.  Steven’s passion was to become a Fireman.

Steven also worked as a Butcher at Hannaford’s Grocery Store for several years.

Steven loved dogs, especially Lester, who was always by his side.  He would enjoy playing video games with his younger twin brothers Kevin and Kyle late into the night.

Steven was an avid hockey and football fan, with his favorite teams the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots always on his mind.  He even played private league soccer, racking up numerous trophies for his many accomplishments on the field.

Stevens sports skills were only rivalled by his playful sense of humor, his heart of gold when any of his friends needed his help, and his fishing trips with his dad when he was young.

Above all, he loved his beautiful daughter Kayley with all of his heart.

Besides his loving mother Stella, he is survived by daughter Kayley Ventura, two brothers; Kyle and Kevin Fisk Jr. and three sisters; Sharon Pereira, Krystal Seaman and Kassy Gilmore.

He is also survived by Stepfathers Andrew Pigney (wife) Stella and Kevin Fisk Sr. (wife) Diane

Aunts, Pat Pacheco (late husband) John and Natalia Benevides (late husband) Joseph.

Cousins, Irene Mendes, Daniel, David, and Jeffrey Benevides

The deceased leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and other relations that will all miss him dearly.

Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 4 to 7 pm, with a funeral service to begin at 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.

(Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the Funeral Home.)

His burial will be held privately.
