Susan Ann Carreiro, age 58 of Taunton, passed away at her residence on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

She was the wife of the late Ronald Mello and William Weeks.

Susan was born in Taunton, a daughter of Dorothy (Leanus) and the late Alfred M. Carreiro.

Growing up she loved music & singing which became a passion that she passed down to her children. She was so proud to watch her sons Jeffrey and Matthew star in local musical productions.  She spent her career as a registered nurse at Wedgemere Nursing Home, taking care of others was something she took pride in.  In her later years, she loved doting on her dog Larry, crocheting, cooking, watching Patriots games, and spending time with her mother Dotty.

Susan is survived by her loving sons, Jeffrey Mello and Matthew Mello. She was also the grandmother of Skylar Marie Sousa and sister of Donna Lynch.

Ms. Carreiro’s visitation will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1 to 3pm in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.

Burial will be held privately.
