Susan (Figueiredo) Costa, age 66 of North Dighton, passed away on January 23, 2024 at home with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Costa, Jr.
Susan was born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Olga ( Gouveia) Figueiredo.
Mrs. Costa was employed with AAA as an Insurance Agent.
She loved dancing, laughing, shopping, going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends. She loved sleepovers with her grandchildren and attending all their competitions and sports games. She also loved hosting holidays. She always put her family first. Taking care of everyone she loved was her number one priority.
Susan is survived by her loving children; Edward Travers, III and wife Erin, Marie Williams, step-son Michael Costa and wife Mary Ellen, step-daughters Christina Weichel, Angela Yelle and companion Thomas Noel and Amanda Costa.. Grandmother of Trinity Williams, Eddy Travers IV, Emmett Travers, Ethan Travers, Michelle Molina and husband Tony, Nicholas Costa, Zachery Weichel, Timothy Costa, Jeremy Yelle, Jason Yelle, and Maria Weichel.
Susan was also the sister of Allen Figueiredo and his wife Sharon, Paulette LaCroix and her husband Marc, sister-in-law of Donna Figueiredo, Cheryl Clifford and her husband Michael and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Nelson Figueiredo.
Susan’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 8:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Saint Nicholas of Myra Church 499 Spring Street, North Dighton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
