Susan Crovello, age 69 of Taunton, passed away on November 18, 2021 at Morton Hospital with loved ones by her side.
Susan was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Francis and Alveda (Braga) Crovello. She graduated from Taunton High School in 1970 and earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Before retiring, Miss Crovello spent many years as a school teacher with the Taunton School System. She particularly enjoyed the challenge of working with middle school children.
Her interests included reading, astrology, and playing cards with her friends. She also enjoyed going to dinner with friends and family. She was an avid animal lover. Her constant companion for the last few years was her feline friend, P.C.
Susan is survived by her sister Joyce Zimmerman of NH and two brothers Steven and Michael Crovello, both of FL. She was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Miss Crovello’s funeral with visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 9:30 am with a funeral service beginning at 10:30am in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
