Sylvia (Mello) Benevides, age 86 of Taunton, passed away on March 30, 2019 at Longmeadow Nursing Home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Benevides.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (Baptist) Mello.
Before retirement, Sylvia worked for many years at Thomas Paper Box Company as a Belt Operator.
Mrs. Benevides is survived by her son William J. Benevides and her very dear friend Cheryl Medeiros.
Sylvia’s funeral and burial will be held privately.
