Sylvia Marie Fernandes, age 59 of Taunton, passed away on September 24, 2022.
She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Sylvina (Paulo) Fernandes, Sr.
Miss. Fernandes was employed with General Dynamics for over 34 years.
She enjoyed Cards, Casinos and her Godchildren; Kayla Murdock, Tyrell Marielle, Nathen Harris and Justin Walker
Sylvia is survived by her loving brother and sister, Joseph Fernandes and Rhoda Walker and husband Deryll both of Taunton. She is also survived by her cousin Ronnie Paulo, whom was like a brother to Sylvia.
She was the sister of the late Robert and John Fernandes, Jr.
Sylvia’s funeral will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 8:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square.) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Annunciation of the Lord Church First Street, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 28th from 4pm to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
