Sylvia T. (Flint) Silvia, age 71 of Taunton, passed away at her residence on October 7, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Silvia, who passed in 2007.
Sylvia was born in Berkley, a daughter of the late Ernest and Louise (Silva) Flint.
Before retiring, Mrs. Silvia was employed with Paul A. Dever School as a caregiver for over 30 years.
She was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. Sylvia was just a kind person who loved the simple things in life, she loved watching birds and loved all animals. She will be missed by many.
Sylvia is survived by her loving children, Armand Veradt of TN, Raymond Veradt of Northboro, MA and Frankie Silvia of South Attleboro, grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 3. She was the loving sister of Jim, Curly and Danny Flint all of Berkley and Cheryl Plogger also of Berkley. She was also the sister of the late Bonnie Adler.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10 am in the Chapel of The Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery Glebe Street, Taunton.
Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 10th from 4 to 7pm.
