Teofilo A. Camara, age 72 of Taunton, passed away on December 3, 2025 in his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Ines (Ponte) Camara.
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the son of the late Teofilo and Otilia (Amaral) Camara.
Before retiring, Mr. Camara was a member of Local 369 Union as a pipefitter.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing, visiting the Azores, going on cruise ships, and casinos.
Besides his beloved wife Ines of over 52 years, Teofilo is survived by his loving children, Richard Camara of Brockton and Karen O’Neill of Taunton, grandfather of Alani and Colin. He was also the brother of the late John, Joseph, Roy and Michael Camara.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 14th, 2025 at 10am with a funeral service to begin at 12 Noon in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
