Thomas Robert Koolen, age 53 of Fall River, formerly of Swansea, passed away on February 24, 2017.
Born in Flushing, NY he was the son of Thomas Koolen ofSwansea and the late Anita Koolen-MacKay of Florida.
Tom is survived by a daughter Tess DeAlmeida of Somerset and sister Valarie Koolen of Florida.
Tom was employed with New England Power for many years. He was also a conductor on the Boston Duck Tours for a short time.
He had a passion for the sea and a love for motorcycles. Tom was a free spirit with a huge heart. He was always there with a shoulder to lean on.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday March 11, 2017 from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) in Taunton.
