Valerie (Michalowski) Podogrodzki, age 67 of Taunton, passed away on July 17, 2022 at her home.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Elizabeth (Urban) Micholowski.
She was a strong, independent woman who raised two daughters just like herself. She had the biggest heart and brought joy to everyone through her laughter, cooking and love of sports…especially the New England Patriots.
Val enjoyed Boston Sports, The Food Network, spoiling her grand-dog and always danced to “the Boss” Bruce Springsteen. She lit up every room she entered, and always made you feel like a part of her family when she left. She opened her heart and home to anyone who needed a person to talk to and a place to feel safe. She loved with all her heart and cooked with all her soul. If you were lucky enough to know her, your life was forever touched because of it.
Her loving impression is everlasting and she will forever be remembered as “Mom.”
Val is survived by her daughters; Nicole Podogrodzki and her boyfriend Jesse Fortin, and Sheree Podogrodzki. She is also survived by her family, friends and all of her "children",
