Veronica (Almeida) Babbitt, age 72 of Taunton, passed away on November 25, 2023 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Babbitt, Sr.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Salvador) Almeida.
Before retiring, Mrs. Babbitt was an owner of Joe’s Diner on Broadway in Taunton along with her husband Ken.
Veronica cherished time spent with her family and traveling.
Besides her beloved husband Kenneth of over 55 years, she is survived by her loving children, Kenneth Babbitt, Jr of West Bridgewater and Christine Perreira and husband Gilbert of Taunton, grandmother of Mackenzie and Alyssa. Veronica was also the sister of Francis Almeida of IN and Lawrence Almeida of Taunton.
Veronica’s funeral will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 29th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
