William Carvalho, age 82, of Taunton, passed away on June 14, 2018 at Morton Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Melvaline (Thornsberry) Carvalho.
Bill was born in Taunton, a son of the late Antone and Irene (Carvalho) Carvalho.
Before retirement, Mr. Carvalho was employed with the Commonwealth of MA as a mental health worker. He also owned his own disc jockey company, Magic Moments in earlier years, Bill was an avid tennis player and enjoyed bicycling. Mr. Carvalho was also a proud Jehovah Witness.
Besides his beloved wife Mel of over 47 years, he is survived by a son Jonathan W. Carvalho and his wife Heidi of Assonet. He was the loving grandfather of Ian Carvalho and Tyler Pachucki, brother of Pam Martin of Taunton and the uncle of Mark Carvalho. Bill was also the brother of the late Adriano Carvalho.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 9 am with a service to begin at 11 am in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton. Interment will be privately held.
