William H. Ray, age 78 of Bridgewater, passed away on August 21, 2022 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Donna (Peck) Ray.
Before retiring, Mr. Ray was employed as a auto service manager for many years.
He proudly served his country during Vietnam as a Marine.
Bill enjoyed the New England Patriots, going to the casino, looking at cars and spending time with family.
He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late John and Helen (Bolster) Ray.
Besides his beloved wife Donna of over 34 years, he is survived by; his daughter Janet Beard and her husband Thomas. His son William Allen. His daughter Diana Ray. His stepdaughter, Bernadette Coyne and her partner Geoffrey Giampapa. His stepdaughter, Janet Almeida and her husband Fernando. His stepson, Michael Coyne and his wife Wendy. His brother Charles Ray. His 6 grandchildren, Nicholas, Sean, Robert, Victoria, Elizabeth, and Christina. And his two great grandchildren, Alexander and Bria.
All funeral services will be held privately with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
A celebration of his life will be held on October 8, 2022, at The Pearl 76 Weir Street, Taunton, MA from 1 to 5 pm.
