TAUNTON - William Francis "Mr. Bill" Waterman, Sr. died at his Taunton home on July 16, 2012.
He was seventy-nine.
Born, raised and educated in Taunton, he was the son of the late Everett and Bridget (O'Reilly) Waterman, Sr.
A U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Waterman served aboard the destroyer escort, USS Brough.
He was employed by GTE Sylvania for thirty years, most recently as a CAD technician.
He retired several years ago.
Survivors include four sons, William Waterman, Jr., and Barry, Brad and Bruce Waterman, all of West Palm Beach, FL; two daughters, Sherri Waterman of West Palm Beach, and Kimberly Staples of Taunton; a brother, Daniel Waterman of Taunton; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Everett Waterman, Jr.
Calling Hours will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Taunton on Friday, July 20th from 5 to 8 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Cremation will take place at a later date.
