Winifred “Sandra” (Lundahl) Wheeler, age 85, of Raynham, passed away on July 27, 2025 at Life Care of Raynham.
She was the beloved wife of Duane Wheeler.
Born in Taunton to her parents Winifred and Curtis Lundahl.
She was a devoted wife, mom, and grandmother who enjoyed opening her home and cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed the bright sunshine of the beach and spent many hours on the beach in Wareham. She loved watching her grandchildren’s dance recitals and sporting events as well as crafting and watching her Boston Celtics.
Besides her beloved husband of over 60 years, Sandra is survived by her daughter Kelley McGovern, husband Steve, of Raynham and their four children; Kerri Murphy and her husband Brian and their children Erin and Aiden of Pembroke, Meaghan McGovern of Taunton, Ashlee Stahelski and her husband Dan and their children Benny and Connor of Pembroke, and Brittanie McGovern of Raynham; her son Mark Wheeler, wife Felly, of Norton and their two children Rachel Wheeler of Dorchester and Ryan Wheeler of Quincy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 10am in Saint Ann’s Church 660 North Main Street in Raynham.
Relatives and friends may meet directly at church at 9:30am.
Interment will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
