Zachary J. Faria, age 33 of North Dighton, passed away on August 16, 2022 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, Brighton MA.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of Tracy (Cochrane) LaBree, step-son of Douglas LaBree, son of John Faria and step-son of Kendra Faria.
Zachary, known to all as a loving father, wonderful friend, and the hardest worker you will ever know. Always eager to lend a hand to anyone in need. Zachary enjoyed spending time with family and especially his new nephew Remington. Zachary loved the outdoors and enjoyed many sports. He loved fishing, disc golf, hiking and camping. One of his favorite getaways were weekends in Vermont with his longtime girlfriend Bethany and son Noah. He also enjoyed golf and loved teaching and playing golf with Noah. Noah was always Zachary’s primary focus in life. From watching movies, working in the yard, and helping with extra jobs, Noah was always there as Zachary’s right-hand man. From an early age Zachary knew he always wanted to be an electrician. Last year he became a proud member of IBEW Local 223 as an apprentice electrician. Zachary always lit up a room, fun loving, caring and knew how to get everyone laughing. One of Zachary and Noah’s favorite sayings is “what you gonna do Subaru” and another was Zachary would say “see you later alligator and Noah would say “see you later kangaroo” To all who knew him he will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Besides his parents, Zachary is survived by his loving son Noah, siblings; Alexandra Faria, Ethan LaBree, Preston LaBree, Isabella LaBree, Nicholas LaBree, paternal grandmother; Genevieve Faria, maternal grandmother; Patricia Martin, nephew Remington Houlihan, aunt; Lisa Whiffen and her husband Jake, uncle; Gordan Cochrane, uncle; Shawn Cochrane and wife Wendy. He was the grandson of the late John Faria and Thomas Martin.
Zachary’s funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 8:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Saint Nicholas of Myra Church, North Dighton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
