Zelia Pedro

Zelia (Oliveira) Pedro, age 68 of Taunton, passed away on February12, 2026 at Marian Manor.

Zelia was born in Sao Miguel, Azores the daughter of the late Manuel and Liduina (Correia) Oliveira.

Before her illness, Zelia was employed with the former Rennie Curtain Factory as a talented sewer.

She enjoyed cooking, dancing, singing, spending time at the beach, most of all Zelia cherished time spent with her family.

Zelia is survived by her loving sons, Nicholas Pedro of Rehoboth, Kevin Pedro of East Taunton, grandmother of Eric, Kevin, Cameron and Camilla, sister of Joao Oliveira of Canada, Estrela Silva of Taunton, Conceicao Fraiao, Margarida Oliveira and Maria Ramos all of the Azores. She was also the sister of the late David Oliveira, Antonio Oliveira, Duarte Oliveira, Jose Oliveira and the late Aldora Correia.

Mrs. Pedro’s funeral will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in saint Anthony Church.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 18 th from 4 to 7pm in

the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located

on the North side of the funeral home.
