Leonor (Cordeiro) DaRocha, age 70 of Middleboro, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.
Leonor was born in Feteiras, Sao Miguel, Azores. She migrated to the United States of America on Aug. 1970. The daughter of the late Jose and Maria Gloria (Machado) Cordeiro
Leonor was a woman of great Faith who cared deeply for everyone that entered her life. She had a heart of gold and would go without to help others. She found great joy in gathering at the table with family and friends, as she prepared delicious meals for all. She loved to travel and was always looking forward to her next adventure. What brought her the most joy were her dear grandchildren whom she loved very much.
Ms. DaRocha is survived by her loving son Steven Valcorba and his wife Sandy, grandchildren; Christopher, Xavier and Issac, she leaves behind her siblings; Jose Carlos Cordeiro, Luis Cordeiro, Duarte Cordeiro, Victor Cordeiro, Eugenia Pereira, Ana Tavares, Lucia Campos, Luisa Braga and Anabella Camara. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. Leonor was also the sister of the late Joao Cordeiro.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 2 to 5pm with a funeral home service at 5pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment will be held privately.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the Funeral Home.
During all services, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
