Maria E. (Paiva) Silva, age 87 of Taunton, passed away on August 23, 2021.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jose P. Silva.
Maria was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria daLuz Paiva.
Before retiring, Mrs. Silva was employed with Swank Manufacturing. Maria enjoyed walking, cooking , sewing and most of all spending time with her loving family especially her precious grand and great-grandchildren.
Maria is survived by her loving children, Francisco J. Silva of Taunton and Maria Medeiros of Raynham. She was the grandmother of Jennifer, Ashlee and Mathew and great-grandmother of Colton, Alexa and Elliana. She was also the loving mother of the late Paul J. Silva.
Maria’s funeral with visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 8:45am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
