Richard Morse, age 81 of Raynham, passed away on May 18, 2020 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Govaya) Morse. They have been together for over 18 years.
Richard was born in Avon, MA the son of the late Herbert and Jean (Egerton) Morse.
Mr. Morse was a general contractor but his favorite projects were restoring old homes to their former beauty. During his free time, he enjoyed browsing through antique stores, puttering in his barn and watching old western movies.
Mr. Morse served his country with the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Besides his beloved wife Kathleen, he is survived by a son, Richard Morse of Middleboro, his brothers; Alfred Cole of Bridgewater, Deveron Cole of Middleboro and a sister, Mildred Hammond Randall of East Wareham. He was also the father of the late Jeffrey Morse and the late Deborah Morse and brother of the late Nicholas Cole of Middleboro.
A grave-side service will be held on Friday at 10:00 am in the Pleasant Street Cemetery in Raynham.
