Rosaline R. (Craven) Davis, age 95 of Taunton, passed away on March 17, 2021 at Marian Manor.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin Davis.
Mrs. Davis was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Manuel and Rose (Thomas) Craven and her step-mother the late Laurentina (Vieira) Craven.
Rosaline was an active communicant of Holy Family Parish and was a member of the Woman’s Guild and the St. Vincent DePaul Society, and also served as eucharistic minister. In 1983 Mrs. Davis was also the recipient of the Marian Medal.
Rosaline was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family, she enjoyed going to the casino, puzzles, going for ice cream and most of all enjoyed breakfast with her church friends.
She is survived by her loving children: Robin Heath of Taunton and Scott Davis and his wife Deborah of Florida. Rosaline was also the grandmother of Kevin McCarthy and his late wife Kelly, Justin McCarthy and his wife Christine, Erin and Lorin Heath, great-grandmother of Tyler, Dennis, Karris, Treavor, Allana, Liam, Laylah, Connor, Dominick, Charlotte, Lamont, Lamar, Tristan, TeVaugn great-great grandmother of Addison, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Fred Craven, Hilda Butts, Elsie Ducharme and Dennis Craven.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10 am in Holy Family Church Middleboro Ave, East Taunton. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at church at 9:45 am.
During all services, facial coverings and social distancing will be required. Interment will be held privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
