Ashley L. Simms, age 42, of Allston, Massachusetts, passed away at her residence on October 2, 2026.

Beautiful inside and out, Ashley left an enduring mark on the hearts of all who knew and loved her. While her outward beauty was unmistakable, it was her kind heart, her capacity for love and the connections she shared with those closest to her that made her truly unforgettable.

Ashley loved deeply and wholeheartedly. She cherished the people she held dear and formed bonds that will be remembered long after her passing. Though she faced personal struggles that many could never fully understand, those challenges were only one chapter of her story. They did not define her spirit, her worth or her remarkable ability to love and be loved.

Her passing leaves a profound void and a sorrow that words cannot adequately express. There are memories to treasure, moments that will be revisited often and a love that will never fade. Although her time here was far too short, her life mattered, her presence mattered and the impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her will endure forever.

Today, we find comfort in believing that Ashley is at peace. May she rest free from the burdens she carried and surrounded by the love that accompanied her throughout her life.

Ashley, you were beautiful, you were loved, and you will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, may you rest peacefully in eternal love.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square),Taunton, MA 02780.

Additional parking with handicap access is available on the north side of the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
