Francisco Gravito

Francisco Gravito, Jr. age 87 of Taunton, passed away on October 22, 2026 at his residence with his loving family by his side.

He was the beloved husband of Maria (Silva) Gravito.

Born in Terceira, Azores, a son of the late Francisco and Clementina (Vaz) Gravito, Sr.

Before retiring, Francisco was employed with commercial sheet metal for 25 years as a machine operator and avon zatec part time.

He enjoyed wood work, spending time with his family and going on vacation to terceira azores.

Besides his beloved wife Maria of over 60 years, he is survived by his loving children; Francisco Gravito, III and his wife Lucia, Sandra Gravito and Susana Cabral and her husband Paulo all of Taunton, grandfather of louis gravito patrick cabral thomas gravito ruben cabral daniel cabral alex depina jaxson depina and angelina depina, great-grandfather of eliana gravito and several nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of Joao A. Gravito, Aguida Borba and Grinualda Brasil, both of Azores. He was also the brother of the late Adelino Gravito and Salvador Gravito.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 4 to 7pm with a service to begin at 6:30pm in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.

Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.

His burial will be held privately.
