Peter F. Vieira

Peter F. Vieira, age 51 of Taunton, passed away on September 10, 2026 at his residence.

Peter was born in Taunton, the son of the late Jose and Ana (Dias) Vieira.

Peter was the companion of Jessica Hodson.

Peter enjoyed jamming on his musical instruments (drums and guitar), writing music, drawing, video games, and he loved his reptiles. Mostly he loved his kids and grandkids.

Besides his beloved companion Jessica, Peter is survived by his loving children, Ashley Welsh of VT, Victoria Vieira, Sammie Fontaine and Jasmine Hodson all of Taunton, grandfather of Amara Eve, Lily and William, brother of George Vieira and Tina Bloom and her husband Matt of Taunton. Peter was also the uncle of Noah and Lucas Bloom.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) Taunton with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church, School Street, Taunton.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to :St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Peter's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
