Todd Nelson

Todd Nelson, 47, of Dighton passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston surrounded by love.

Born in Taunton, he was the loving son of the late Harry and Linda (Leadbeater) Nelson.

Todd was a deeply loving father; his greatest accomplishment in life and beyond are his two children Andrew and Charlotte, as he lit up at the mere mention of them. Todd was a gentle giant often hearing “wow, you’re so tall!” upon meeting anyone for the first time. Todd had a love for all Boston sports, movies, and video games (especially with his kids). He was a kind soul that would do anything to help family or a friend in need. Todd was a loyal and loving partner to Bethany in the many years they shared.

He is survived by his loving children; Andrew Nelson, Charlotte Nelson, partner Bethany Lopes and her children Talia Lopes and Sydney Lopes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12pm-3pm with a funeral home service to begin at 3pm in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend.

Burial will be held privately.

All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton.
