Richard, we can't thank you enough for your genuine concern about making the final goodbye for our dad a memorable one. Your compassion was felt and your professionalism was truly noticed and well received.
The family of William James DeLuca, Sr.
Dear Larry, Chrissy, Amy and Richard,
I just wanted to send you a thank you for all you and your staff did for us during this difficult time. You and your staff are the most comforting people I have ever met, you certainly put us at ease knowing our wonderful Fred was in great hands.
You are all so professional but most importantly so sincere and also take such pride in what you do and it certainly shows. From planning to the burial there isn't one thing that wasn't perfect! I know it is your profession but you are certainly the finest Funeral Homes that I have ever had to work with.
I wish you all the best both professionally and most of all personally.
Thank you again, The Family of Fred Patterson.
Sadly I have had to rely on Larry Quintal for many years from grandparents to most recently my husband, my brother in law, and my dad. Over the years Larry has become a dear friend of mine. His professionalism and his level of compassion is like no other. Also when my husband passed I had the pleasure of dealing with his wife Chrissy. When a family is going through this difficult time especially when it is so unexpected you don’t know where to turn or what to do first. The Quintal’s have a very special way of helping a family through this and making sure every detail is taken care of. Even though you may be experiencing a very difficult time the stresses of making sure your loved one is taken care of and given a proper burial has always been the Quintal’s priotity! I am forever greatful to have had the pleasure of dealing with not only fantastic funeral directors but also made two fantastic friends! There are not enough words to express my gratitude over the years.
I would like to share with you the wonderful experience my mother and I had while attending the services of a dear friend.
I arrived at your funeral home with my aging mother so she could say goodbye to her very best friend. As we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted by three very polite gentlemen. (Please note that I am aware this is part of your service.) Two of the men immediately came over and opened the doors for us. As I reached in the back seat to remove my mother’s cane the third man Larry immediately came over and very professionally took charge. He politely asked if we would prefer to use the elevator. He graciously informed us that since we were attending the church service and cemetery he would have us follow him in the lead car so my mother would not have a far walk. I could not believe we were being treated so kindly. I thanked him and he assisted us to the elevator and up to the main floor.
Throughout the remainder of the services he could not have been more accommodating and kind. All of the gentleman spent a great deal of time making sure we were comfortable and informed us each step of the way.
As we arrived at the cemetery Larry brought a chair over for my mother while another gentleman opened an umbrella for her to use as shade. At the end of the service Larry came to my mother and handed her a white rose. A small gesture that meant so very much to her. She had a little something to hold on to as she said her final goodbyes.
I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the very kind, attentive and professional way we were treated. On a day that was very difficult for my mother, there men were so wonderful that it truly seemed to ease her woes.
Your staff is truly wonderful. Please let Larry and the others know how grateful I am for their kindness.
With much gratitude,
To Larry, Christine, and all those who worked during the Fernandes funeral, I want to thank you for the unbelievable service you did for her family. We were amazed at how you incorporated Alice’s grandchildren and great grandchildren ranging from 4 to 52 years old into the service. They felt so special and I was incredibly proud that they are my family. I thought I would remember my mothers funeral with sadness but now I will remember it with joy. The most beautiful part was watching the grandchildren and especially the great grandchildren surround her as you allowed each of them to place a little Remembrance or a flower in her coffin. Truly amazing and our entire family thanks you.
I would like to thank you and the staff of the Silva Funeral Home for you kindness and compassion during our family’s time of sadness. All you did to accommodate us was much appreciated.
The family of John DiIorio.
Just wanted to tell you that we appreciate everything you all did for our parents funerals. We are all impressed with the compassion and professionalism that was bestowed upon us. This was a difficult time for us that was made a lot easier for us by you and Larry as well as your staff.
We were so impressed at how our mother looked and was presented. That was beyond any of our imagination. It showed the care and respect that you showed her.
Thank you so much
Richard Carey and our family
Just wanted to express our deepest appreciation to you and your staff, especially to you. For your kindness, compassion and professionalism during this difficult time for our family.
The way you guided us in our decisions and answered our concerns and kept our family at peace and even making us laugh through our tears requires a special person. It really meant a lot to us.
Our mother received the beautiful funeral she deserved. She was a lovely soul who cared about others and their feelings like you have toward our family.
With much appreciation, The Medeiros family.

We had nothing short of a positive experience with Silva Funeral Home. Dealing with a death and arrangements are difficult situations, but Larry made the process so much easier and stress-free. From the first meeting we had with him, to picking out details, to the day of services, Larry and the rest of the staff at Silva's were nothing short of amazing. Larry made sure to give us his undivided attention, sympathy and honesty when it came to things such as the prices and what is needed/not needed. He knew the appropriate times to offer condolences and when to joke around to lighten the mood a bit and make this process a little less heavy-hearted. Everyone at Silva Funeral Home was professional and excellent at communicating. The wake and funeral day flowed efficiently and smoothly and it was all thanks to the staff at Silva's. I would recommend them to absolutely everyone.
I attended a funeral this past week and at the graveside we were in freezing cold weather and I was so struck by the kindness and concern of Larry Who had chairs blankets already for the family to sit and be warm while they listen to the prayers of the church for their deceased loved one Larry always has a personal touch and I think that's why so many turn to him at the toughest times in their lives. God Bless you! Larry
On behalf of my dear friend Sharon Tweedy, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Larry and his amazing staff for taking care of her in her time of need. Her husbands passing came very unexpectedly and there was so many things to do that Larry and his staff helped us with all the arrangements in a very professional and courteous way. Every detail that Sharon wanted for her husband was met. For me personally, Larry would contact me with any questions so that Sharon could focus on her children at a time they needed her the most. Thank you Larry and your amazing staff for helping all of us get through this very difficult time.
I would like to deeply say thank you to Larry Quintal and the entire staff of the funeral home. They handled my grandmothers funeral and everything was perfect just the way she would have wanted it. When dealing with Larry I could not ask for a more caring person to carry out my grandmothers wishes. Although we were in sorrow the entire staff was extremely thoughtful and supportive throughout the entire process. Every step of the way any time I called with a question or concern they were always there very courteous and caring. Thank you so much for making a difficult time easier for us. Sincerely, Maria
