Welcome to FURbituaries

This page was created to honor the beloved four-legged, winged—or even aquatic—companions who have touched our lives and passed from them.

Gather your favorite photos and take some time to share the stories, memories, quirks, and countless reasons your companion expanded your heart and made your life better simply by being part of it.

There is no cost to create a FURbituary. This is simply a community service offered with love and an understanding that grief is grief. When our hearts fall in love with another living creature, losing them can leave an enormous space behind—and an instinctive need to remember, celebrate, and memorialize the life we shared.

Whether they had fur, feathers, scales, paws, hooves, fins, or something in between, their life mattered. Their story deserves to be told.

How It Works

Once your form is received, you’ll be sent access to create and customize your companion’s own FURbituary memorial page. You can add favorite photographs, memories, stories, and the little details that made them uniquely yours.

Once completed, the memorial will be shared here as part of our growing community of remembrance and may also be featured on our community Facebook page, FURbituaries.

Because the creatures who expand our hearts deserve to be remembered long after they leave our sides.
